back from vacation :: bring on the summer break

Vacation was relaxing and enjoyable, but it’s good to get back home and settle in for a summer without classes. Spending time with the in-laws (and Katie) was…well, not that bad, actually!

We took a 12-hr trip and made it last a little longer on both ways. For a guy with a good sense of direction, I don’t know how we screwed this up so badly! But, it didn’t matter; Mason was amazingly good the entire trip and Lindsay only misbehaved a few times!

I’m excited to get back and hop onto the bike for some more training. But, I’m even more excited just to not have classes for a few months. I think Lindsay will be excited when we find that winning lottery ticket lying in our front yard…or when I get that $20k/yr raise she believes I have earned! Then, it’ll be no more work for her (except cooking and cleaning…and various other wife-ly tasks).

That’s about all for now; just thought I’d drop an update out here for our few visitors.
