Best Wishes, Calhouns!

Well, a bittersweet weekend has past; we’ve shipped dear friends off to the East Coast. *twiddling thumbs* (what are we supposed to do now!? ) We’ll miss them dearly, but life goes on and true friends stay connected regardless of the distance.

And as life goes on, life also gets created! If you didn’t catch it in the last post, the doc has confirmed that we have a little bean with buds and a heartbeat and it is growing as it should be! The doc’s declared due date is February 3rd (I’m voting January 23rd; lindsay says the 17th…we’ll see who gets closest!).

And next on the plate comes the MS150 Bike Tour this coming weekend. The boys did a 75-miler last weekend, so I think we’re about as ready as we’re going to get. Just have to pray for our bums now (that’s a long time on a little bike seat!). There’s already talks of a Fall triathlon…ya know, since we have nothing better to do!
