Change of pace…

Well, in light of recent decisions to change the direction of some aspects of our lives (I’m leaving you in suspense as I’m not quite ready to divulge that info), we have decided to take our house off the market. This is neither good nor bad. We’re really indifferent in the matter. This house is in such a convenient location to almost every aspect of our lives (aside from work and school), that we’ve changed our minds! It has it’s downfalls, but it’s really a great house overall. Dave is relieved to not have any more open houses or last minute showings. I really didn’t mind them because it forced me to keep the house clean at all times and kept me on my toes. It became a challenge to see how fast I could throw the house together for some strangers to come walk through it!

Is it sad that I’ll actually miss chatting with our agent on the phone? I suppose that’s the life of a stay at home mom; you learn to cherish any adult interaction and conversation you can get . In all seriousness, though, she is great and I’d recommend her to anyone needing an agent.

Mason is officially 2-and-a-half and Brody is 14 months old today. It’s so hard to believe how big they are! They are the light of our lives and we love them more than we ever could have imagined.

Nothing else is really all that new at the moment! We’re super busy as always and looking forward to the semester being over, that’s for sure!
