Boo for storms!

Last Tuesday’s storm brought some nice damage to our neighborhood. Our beautiful 40+ foot pine tree in our front yard was snapped in half, several branches were lost from the trees out back and it’s just been a mess! So for days, Dave has been a chainsaw pro, cutting down trees, cutting up branches and putting them on the curb for the city to come by and pick up. It’s been a total mess!!!

We celebrated Dave’s dad’s birthday yesterday with some family time…Chipotle, brownies and swimming! It doesn’t get much better than that. The kids had a blast and took 3 hour naps, so we weren’t complaining a bit!

Dave and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary next week. It’s hard to believe how fast the time has flown by! We’re excited to see what the future holds and we love each other more than we did the day we got married!
