It’s Halloween!
Happy Halloween! We’re excited to take the boys out tonight on a Trick or Treating adventure with their cousins, as well as a few friends and family. Halloween is always a fun evening for us, but I’ll admit, having a child with food allergies just plain sucks this time of year. Mason is allergic to milk, peanuts and eggs. So of course, we have have to sift through his candy only to usually leave him with a couple suckers and some smarties. So we stock up on allergy friendly candy that Mason likes and keep it on hand for when we get home. He still loves to dress up and enjoys the experience, so it’s still plenty of fun! Pictures soon to come of our little Leopard and Robot!
In other news, we’ve had a busy few weeks. Vacation to Gatlinburg was fun, relaxing and filled with the beautiful fall foliage, Christmas decorations and lots of shopping and eating. We loved seeing our Texan friends and enjoyed our cabin in the mountains!
Winter has definitely arrived and brought the sickies to the Ensor household. We’ve all battled croup, colds, asthma and various other respiratory ailments. After nearly 3 weeks of this (knock on wood) we’re all on the mend. I’ve also been battling a bad gall bladder that has landed me in the hospital and doped up on pain meds, but hopefully that’ll be taken care of soon enough.
After tonight’s festivities, I’ll be sure to post pics of our adorable little kiddos. Thanks for checking in on the Ensors!!!
