Hello, December!

I can’t believe it’s December. In the back of my mind all I can really think about is the fact that my “baby” will be two next month…TWO! Where did the time go? My boys are growing up way too quickly.

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We spent lunch time with Dave’s family and dinner with mine. The holidays also brought in to town a bunch of our old friends from our church plant a couple years ago. And since we were all in the same area at the same time, that meant a GCC reunion at Pizza Hut. About 30 or so of us got together and had a fantastic time catching up and reminiscing on old times. It was great to see everyone.

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone, the Christmas decorations have exploded in our house (it’s only a minor explosion, though…I don’t do much other than a tree, stockings and nativity set), and it’s time to bring on the family gatherings. We have our first family Christmas on Saturday, with 1-2 family events a week clear through the entire month December.

It’s also time to start thinking about those new years resolutions. I’ve never been one to have one. In the past, I haven’t really needed one. But this year, I’ll jump on the weight loss wagon with everyone else… here’s to a successful month of January weight loss (*insert sarcasm*… really, who keeps their resolutions past January??).

Happy December!
