So much to do, so little time!

Things have been busy in the Ensor household! I can’t even pinpoint where the time has gone, but I realized this morning it had been way too long since I’ve updated this blog! So I’ll give a person by person update since there’s nothing overly exciting… except for our countdown to August 2nd, when we’ll be sitting on Myrtle Beach in our Ocean Front Resort…

Kids first, of course:
Brody- He’s 2.5, need I say more? He’s talking so much more clearly now. I’m amazed every day at his loving little personality. He’s full of hugs and kisses for everyone, he’ll give away anything he has for someone else and he’s got an adorable little attachment to stuffed animals that I find ridiculously cute! He’s a great little brother and he’s a smart little cookie! We’re enjoying watching him grow!

Mason- He’s growing SO fast. Literally. He’s over 42inches tall now! hard to believe! We’re confident he’s going to be a linebacker for the NFL one day. He is the most solid child I’ve ever met. Literally, a rock. And that’s amazing being that he eats next to nothing. He’s growing like a champ and in August, we’ll have his allergy check-up to see where everything stands as far as his allergies are concerned. He starts pre-school in September and while I’m excited for him, I’m also nervous and slightly sad that my baby is old enough for school! He’s already even picked out a Lightening McQueen book bag!

Dave- Well, we thought that once he graduated that things would slow down! How wrong we were!!! He’s applied to the MBA program at MU, he’s working on a lot of websites in his side business, he’s busy busy busy at MU with all the project management stuff there… just a busy guy! He’s playing softball- pitching- and I’m loving being a softball wife! It’s so fun to watch him play and the boys love it too. They get really into daddy’s games!

Me- I’m so busy with school it’s not even funny. I’m on a fast track to graduate in May which means 15 credit hours each semester, including the summer! That’s a lot to manage when you have 2 active toddlers (who are slowing giving up naps- which used to be when I got all my studying done!), you’re busy keeping a house put together and attempting to keep it running smoothly! I’m getting ready to start singing in our praise band at church and I’m very excited about that. In spite of all the busyness of life, I’m enjoying being a mommy and having a lot of fun with my boys this summer and trying to cherish every moment since it goes by so quickly!

So that’s a quick family update. One of these days I’ll remember to actually take my camera with me somewhere so I can take pictures. I need one of those little digital cameras to just keep in my purse instead of our huge Nikon that requires an entire separate carrying case (of which I’m not inclined to carry with me in addition to my purse and diaper bag!).
