The Facebook Dilemma

Sometimes, I’m not sure why we have a blog. I post updates on my everyday life on Facebook. That included pictures, literal daily updates as to what we’re doing and what’s going on in our lives. I think we do this because every now and then it’s fun to look back over the last few months at the posts. And there is the fact that my husband develops websites for a living, so of course we’ll have one! All of our faithful blog readers are also our Facebook friends, so just humor me into thinking you really want yet another update on our family!

Are you ready for it?!?! I really have nothing new to report. Our lives are filled with a lot of fun these days. Mason is in school 2 days a week and when he’s not there, we’re out and about at the zoo, museum, or various other places we like to go!

I did, for the first time in a LONG time have some fun time with a good friend the other night. I don’t very often hang out with my friends with out kids, but her kids were in bed, her hubby was at work, and I left my hubby at home to do work while our own kids were sleeping and headed over to her house for a late night girly movie and some good conversation. It’s amazing how sitting on the couch in your jammies with a friend watching a movie can be so refreshing! We see each other often, but we always have kids in tow, so it was nice to hang out just the 2 of us and have conversation not related to our kids!

In other exciting news, we have a new addition to our family. He’s being delivered as we speak. Just in time to comfort us this winter. A brand new…wait for it… HEATER!!! For once our heater will kick on this winter and our house will not sound like it’s getting ready to lift off the ground. I can’t wait!
