I know, I know

Forgive me, faithful blog readers, for I have allowed a month to lapse in between posts. But you’re reading this, so you obviously haven’t given up on us yet! (or you use something like Google Reader where it popped up that we have a new post and you thought to yourself “wow, it’s been so long, I forgot the Ensor’s even existed!”) Regardless of the reasoning, you’re here and you’re looking for an update.

October was a busy and hectic month to say the least. Just one of those months that we were more than happy to see come to an end. While I could fill you in on the boring negatives of the month, I’ll resist and tell you about the fun we had!

Mason is still enjoying school so much. We can see such a difference in him. He’s a lot more patient, he’s kinder to his brother and he’s just become such a pleasant little boy. I love to listen to his stories and his interpretations of what he’s learned!

Brody is loving his gymnastics classes. He goes there when Mason is at school and he’s such a great little acrobat (read: monkey).

They boys thoroughly enjoyed Halloween this year. First, last Saturday we went to Kings Island for their halloween festivities. The boys participated in a costume parade, received candy and pumpkins and they had a blast.

This past Thursday, we went to my Grandma’s nursing home to attend their annual family trick or treat bash. All of the residents dress up and sit outside their rooms with candy to pass out. Mason and Brody love their GG very much and they had a great time visiting with her and all of her friends there.

Then on Saturday, we went out to Aunt Carrie and Uncle Craig’s house to trick or treat through the neighborhood with the cousins. The boys had a really great time. They really got the hang of going door to door saying “trick or treat”. This was the first year we could go without a kid in a stroller and it was great. (This momma is really enjoying getting out of the stroller phase!!!)

They really had a fantastic week. Mason was the perfect little Dragon and Brody was an adorable (and oh-so-fitting) Monkey. We definitely love the costumes from Old Navy. They are warm, durable and so very cute! Perfect for unpredictable Ohio fall weather and rough little boys!

So there’s the update you’ve been looking for. I hope it finds you well! Halloween Pics are posted in the gallery to the right of the blog!
