Saturday: A day of play

We love that daddy has a job with set hours and comes home to us every evening. But, we’re on the go a lot. Monday and Friday we have small groups, Tuesday I have worship team practice, Thursday is our designated work evening and the kids go to grandmas. So when Saturday rolls around, it’s family day. And that means we do what the boys want (well, within limits, of course)!

Today…that was play. And play. And play. We played in the snow. We played Candy Land. We played Lucky Ducks. We played trains. We played tag. We played all day. All. Day. And it was awesome. Our kids love Saturdays. My amazing husband lets me sleep in every Saturday. So the boys get to wake up with daddy and spend some time with him before I drag myself out of the cozy, quiet that is my Saturday slumber.

It’s just a fun day to relax as a family. We look forward to it all week. Here’s a few shots that capture what all we did today!
