Total Family Update

Haven’t posted in a while…here’s the scoop on us, little to big (people, not topics)

Brody- Not a whole lot up with this kid, other than his crazy personality. He’s a little instigator. Likes to irritate and cause trouble. He’s also such a momma’s boy. Growing like a weed, eating like a teenage boy and still skinnier than ever. This kid can pack away the food. He’s still my little momma’s boy (read: clinger). I love it though. I’m enjoying every minute of it I can, since I know it won’t last for long!

Mason- He’s my big, independent kid! He’ll hop in a car with Grandma, spend the night, go to classes, anything really without ever thinking twice. He loves to be active and do fun things. He’s loving t-ball (and I may be biased, but he’s pretty good at it too!). Still not eating more than a small list of about 6 foods, but he’s growing strong (thank you vitamin fortified soy milk for kids!!). He’s such a sweet heart and I nearly croak every time I think about the fact that my first born starts kindergarten in only a few months!

Me- I’m 5 weeks away from graduating college. Five. Weeks. I never thought this day would come!!!! Other than that, not much else is going on!

David- Let’s face it, you come here to read about the kids… Dave goes to work every day… way boring.

In general news- We have recently finished up a marriage study we led at church and got to grow a little closer with some people we’ve known a while. It was a lot of fun! We enjoy our Friday night small groups as well. With 2 Bible studies a week, T-ball twice a week, and praise team practice (all in the evenings!) we stay fairly busy! But we are loving every minute of it!

Asthma and Allergy season is here and both kids are already hopped up on meds and nebulizer treatments. June can’t come soon enough. It tends to die down a bit then before it flares up again in August. I personally am so thrilled with this weather though. I’d take this over the nasty cold any day. And I thoroughly enjoyed our first warm spring thunderstorm tonight.

I’ve mentioned here on my blog before about my good friend, Lindsay, out in Seattle. She’s a writer (and a darn good one!) and she’s making her plans to come to a writers conference in Dayton next week. She’ll be staying with me!!! And she’ll be bringing one of her little twin boys with her which I’ll get to keep with me while she’s away. I’m super excited since it’s been almost 2 years since I’ve seen her. I’m looking forward to a lot of catching up, hanging out, little sleep and good girl time!!

Tomorrow we are attempting our first family photo… I’m sure that’ll be a blog entry all on its own, so I’ll keep you posted on that good time (read: nightmare).

So there’s the update on the little Ensor clan! Nothing exciting, but something to read none-the-less! (Since I KNOW all 3 of you out there who read this have nothing better to do! )
