Lyrics

I’m feeling emotional and sappy today for numerous reasons… you have been warned.
“You’re worth every falling tear, You’re worth facing any fear…
I’ll trade the fear of all that I could lose for every moment I share with you”
There’s a new(ish) song on the radio (that I heard today which spawned this post) that [...]

Turkey Time

Now that the worst “holiday” ever (aside from sweetest’s day… I mean, really?) has come to an end, it’s time to move to something really worth talking about.
Editor’s note: I hate Halloween. Mostly for its detrimental-waisteline effects.
Let’s think about Thanksgiving. The one holiday that requires so little, but so much preparation (if you’re [...]

Um, yeah…

It’s been over 5 months since I’ve posted and yet even with all that’s gone on, I feel like I have nothing to say. There’s no possible way I have the time to catch up here on the last few months of our lives, so we’ll just use the words hectic and chaotic and leave [...]

So Proud!

I’m so very proud of my momma! She’s always dreamed of being a nurse. She’s been a medical assistant, pharmacy technician and more, but after a lot of obstacles and trials to overcome, she finally chased her dream into Nursing School. Three long, hard years later of school and working both full time, she’s made [...]

CARS!

My boys are all boy. They like dirt, bugs and everything related to things with wheels. One wheel or 18 it doesn’t matter. We have more rolling toys in our house than anything else. So what better than to make your own?!
Pappy brought the boys some cars to paint and then assemble and they had [...]

Prasco Park

There’s a new baseball stadium in Mason called Prasco Park. This past week they were having a Christian College World Series and we decided to check it out. Everything is free! Games, inflatables, ice cream, admission to game…everything! It was a fun evening to just hang out with the kiddos!

I’ve got some catching up to do!!

I’m behind by several ideas for posts… I have pictures organized and things ready to write, but wow, I never have a spare moment!
So. let’s go back a few weeks. In April, Mason started his second season of T-Ball. He absolutely LOVES it. He especially loves wearing his uniform so he can show people [...]

What a week…

To say we are exhausted is a n understatement. It’s been a week of serious illness. It all started on Tuesday when Mason started struggling with his asthma. Nothing out of the ordinary, so we went through his regular protocol of meds. He wasn’t getting any better and he was struggling even harder to breathe. [...]

Well, Oops

I missed last weeks entry because I decided I wanted to see Dave play soccer, so I dragged the kids out for two hours past their bedtime to watch. They were surprisingly perfect angels and Dave’s team won a tough game. It was so fun to watch.
I’m not on a huge time crunch tonight [...]

Time, or lack thereof…

Ok, Thursday nights have just been designated as blogging nights. Dave has soccer, the kids are in bed and it’s the ONLY 2 hours I have to myself each week. It’s hard to blog with school-aged kids. They don’t nap, they stay up later, and every night is filled with something to do.
Last weeks [...]
